And the Fashion app also brags an impressive collection of fashion-related vidoes that feature seasonal trends and beauty tips.

Half the fun of shopping is consulting with friends on fit, style and color. with the free Snapette app you can expand dramatically your circle of personal consultants. The app allows you to snap photos of items that you see while out hitting the stores and then share them with others. In turn, if you spot something posted on the app by another user that catches your eye, you will know exactly where to go to find it. The app focuses on shoes and handbags, so it is definitely best for an accessories girl.

For the hard-core, high-fashion types there is the Fashion Network Original app (free). it features full videos from dozens of fashion shows from the most recent season. so for those of us who were not invited to Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2011 collection showcase, we can get our fix via this app at the very least.

You can find just about anything on eBay, and the free eBay Fashion lets you browse from a seemingly endless selection of dresses, pants, shoes, handbags and more. The quantity is a bit overwhelming, but if you are looking for something really specific there, is no better app to try.

Another great shopping option via your iPhone is the ShopStyle app (free). this breaks everything down into very specific categories. For example, the handbags can be searched by hobos, clutches, shoulder bags and totes. what sets the app apart is an alert feature that lets you know as soon as an item you are coveting goes on sale.

And finally, for the shoe lover in all of us, there is the free iShoes app which is actually better than the shoe department at Barneys New York (hard to believe, we know). The merchandise is so high end it makes look like Payless. There are Tory Burch boots, and Elie Tahari flats galore here.
